ABOUT KEEPCOOL THERMOGRAPHY

Bringing Breast Thermography to Wisconsin

THE NAME

The name "Keep Cool" actually has three separate meanings. One, the word "Cool" is an acronym for Keep Cancer Out Of Lives. That is the goal and it is accomplished through prevention and early screening. Second, thermography is able to measure abnormal heat patterns emitted from breast tissue from conditions such as inflammation, hormonal imbalances, infection, fibrocystic disease, cysts, and cancer. So, ideally, on a scan, you don't want to see these hot spots, you want your thermogram to "keep cool". Finally, the name "Keep Cool" should describe our attitude toward breast cancer. Just hearing the word "cancer" can strike fear into our mind. We need to replace fear with positive, healthy lifestyle choices and early screening. Instead of panic, we have to "keep cool" and take control of our health.

THE MISSIONMelissa Huguet

Keep Cool Thermography is owned and operated by Melissa Huguet of Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is a Certified Thermographic Technician, a Nutritional Therapist, and creator of the Keep Cool Program. Her mission is to not only keep cancer out of lives, but to inspire women to make positive lifestyle choices in order to abundantly live out the time we have been blessed with on this earth. Melissa saw her mother face breast cancer and come out victorious. She also walked through her own terrible fears of being the next victim of breast cancer. She now speaks and counsels women of all ages to take control of their health because she does not want to see any women go through what her mother went through and doesn’t want to see any women walk in fear.

THE PLAN

The plan of the Keep Cool Program can be summed up in a few steps:

  1. First, it starts out with a baseline thermogram. Six images of the breast are taken, and approximately 25 are taken for a full body thermogram.
  2. Second, these images are sent to our MD Radiologist and our Board Certified Thermographer for interpretation. They create a report which we receive back in approximately 3-7 days.
  3. Third,  a follow-up appointment is scheduled to review your thermogram and to go over all the findings and recommendations from the doctors.
  4. Finally, because every woman’s scan is highly specific with their own personal thermal patterns, and every woman is unique and is in a different place in their health journey,it is very important at this point to come up with a game plan. Based on the results of your thermogram we will discuss any recommended referrals for further testing through your medical doctor or naturopath. We will also discuss your health goals and struggles and make personalized recommendations. You will receive a copy of the Keep Cool Program which is loaded with information on breast cancer superfoods,  decreasing toxins to balance hormones, eliminating highly inflammatory foods, supplementation, stress reduction, and much more. In this program, each week you will find a new challenge for a total of 24 challenges. In 6 months, you will have incorporated extremely healthy, natural,  lifetime habits which will decrease your risk of cancer and help you to feel like a new you!
